Sculpture → Bronze → Mother Nature as a Two-Year-Old

The sculpture is in recognition of both the human capacity for destruction and the potential of life on Earth to respond and regenerate, illuminating a recurring theme and unifying tension throughout the greater body of work. The cartoon-like characterization suggests some human beings’ fragmentary and near virtual relationship with nature, permitting them only an unreal, Disneyland-type understanding of nature and the destructive consequences of certain human behavior. The conceptual force of World Sensorium was to use art, olfaction and massing to accomplish an aesthetically compelling case for awareness and change.
